Teologi Disabilitas Imago Dei sebagai Fondasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen Inklusif

Disability theology, grounded in the doctrine of Imago Dei, affirms that all human beings are created in the image of God and therefore possess equal dignity and worth, including persons with disabilities. This article aims to reconstruct the concept of Imago Dei as a theological foundation for inclusive Christian Religious Education (CRE) and to analyze its implications for pedagogical practices in churches and Christian educational institutions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this study utilizes hermeneutical analysis of biblical texts alongside a critical review of contemporary theological and educational literature. The findings indicate that Christian education rooted in biblical theology should embody God’s love, justice, and hospitality toward human diversity. Within the context of CRE, these insights call for curriculum reconstruction, differentiated instructional strategies, and the cultivation of educators’ ethos that affirms students with disabilities as active learners and full members of the body of Christ. This study contributes to the development of an integrated theological–pedagogical framework for inclusive Christian education in Indonesia.
